Funeral details For those that may wish/are able to come, the funeral will be held on Friday 24th October at 3pm at
Reading Crematorium, The extended family will be leaving from home just after 2pm and are welcome to join us for a cup of tea and a sandwich beforehand from 12.30 if they wish and journey times permit.

The wake Afterwards we will celebrate George's life at the Anchor Inn which is just around the corner from Chimney Pot Lodge.

Accommodation For all those wanting to stay overnight, the following are local hotels and B&B, with contact details. More accommodation can be found here.

Parking (Henley-on-Thames) There is some limited car parking at the pub but it is very near to Henley on Thames Rail Station where parking is only £2.70 per day, alternatively Mill Meadows car park is even nearer, which is about 30p per hour. We will give out maps at the end of the service in any case.

Flowers & Donations We would prefer to limit flowers to family only as they are seen for such a short time, should you wish to make a donation George's preferred charity is Children in Need.
